Your computer Internet connection is not working |

If you still can not access the Internet, then make
sure you configured your Internet connection properly. You may need to
call you ISP for connection support, and if you do that specify which
method (Ethernet, USB, PPPoE) you wish to use. If uninstalling the 2hotspot controller solves your problem please report it to driver-support@2hotspot.com. In your incident report include a screen shot of you Internet Connection Property page. You can take such a screen shot by right clicking on your Internet Connection then select Properties, then while you hold down the <Ctrl> button press and release the <PrtSc> button, then paste the screen shot in your email program using <Ctrl> + V. |

Can not access the Internet from test computer |
You did not sign-in to the hotspot. |
On your test machine open a web browser, try to access any web site; you will be redirected to your hotspot portal page to sign-in or sign-up. Only after you sign-in you can access the Internet using other programs. |

Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is not configured |
Repeat the instructions to configure Internet Connection Sharing. In some cases Internet Connection Sharing need to disabled and then re-enabled.. |

Another DHCP Server is running |
Disable the DHCP server on your wireless router. Disconnect and then reconnect your test machine to the 2HOTSPOT wireless network.
On your test computer click lick Start ► Run, in the dialog type appwiz.cpl and click OK,. The Microsoft Windows XP command prompt appears. Type ipconfig and press Enter. Ensure the test computer shows the mshome.net as ‘Connection-specific DNS Suffix’. This validates that your test computer receives its IP via Internet Connection Sharing and not a different DHCP server. |

2hotspot controller will not start |
2hotspot controller has not been properly installed. |
Uninstall the 2hotspot controller, restart your machine, then reinstall the 2hotspot controller, making sure you set Driver Signing warnings to Ignore, or you click Continue Anyway when prompted.
To uninstall the 2hotspot controller, click Start ► Run, in the dialog type appwiz.cpl and click OK, wait for the application list to fill, then scroll down to 2hotspot controller, and click remove. You need to restart your PC to complete the uninstall process. |
